Starting locations in New World

There are 4 starting areas in New World: First LightWindswardMonarch’s Bluffs and Everfall, but it is not possible to choose which one you will appear on.

Random selection determines which starting game location you will be taken to. This is done in order to not let a large number of players accumulate in one settlement and not to leave the rest of the game empty. But there is a little trick to fix it. When you appear in a locked location for training, you can skip the learning content and immediately see where you are in the game location. If you’re in the right place, keep playing. If not, exit the game world, remove the character, and create a new character until you are in the location you need. This is especially relevant when playing a party, or if you have a large clan. With this manipulation, you can start the game together.

The adventure itself in New World game starts with the walkthrough of the game. You are first told the story of a strange magical place Aeternum. After that you go there by ship, but you suffer the calamity. Next, you can go through the educational content that you don’t want to miss if you are a beginner.

But if you skip it, you save yourself about 10 - 15 minutes of the play time. At the end of your training, something takes possession of the mind of the captain of the ship, and he kills you. You are revived near the lighthouse, where the first game activities begin. You are given various tasks that introduce you to game mechanics, settlements, nature, animals, and guide you through the game world to the very end. In the starting location you can reach level 23-25, and then you will have adventures in other game locations, each of which is unique in its own way.
